Hey y'all, thanks for checking out Idaho Resistance Alerts. We're an independent and informal group of resistance organizers and activists working to connect Idahoans with groups actively organizing and participating in the resistance.

To be clear, we do not organize protests or other events–we exist solely to help connect, promote and support other groups in their efforts. In that effort, we also do not solicit or accept donations; instead, we suggest you donate to organizations active in your communities.

This site and newsletter

Much like the signal group, this website and future newsletter will focus only on communicating events, and helping promote activities by various resistance groups across Idaho.

How is this different than Progressive Idaho?

Idaho Resistance Alerts was started by Zeb, who also started Progressive Idaho years ago. In its current iteration, Progressive Idaho exists to "connect the dots" and build community. As we have been working on that, we saw a need to connect and support groups some of which we were/are doing within Progressive Idaho but after talking with people across a variety of groups we realized that there was an overwhelming need to build communication paths that can help organize across lots of different groups in Idaho. So, Idaho Resistance Alerts was started as a signal group and is quickly gaining steam, as it does, we are seeing a future where we need additional communication outlets in addition to Signal.
